Ross disclosed on his Kick stream that he and Messi engaged in a bidding war for the dream house, with Messi ultimately emerging as the successful bidder.



In a clip from the stream that has gone viral on social media, Ross initially kept the identity of the winning athlete confidential but later revealed it was Lionel Messi. Ross explained that Messi's family, possibly his grandparents, sought the property for their grandchildren, adding a unique twist to the competition.


Despite Ross expressing disappointment at losing the bid, he clarified that it was not a financial setback for him. Instead, the timing played a crucial role, as Messi's family had already initiated talks and secured the property.
