Ibadan Jet Crash-Landing: NSIB Investigation Update



The Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB) has provided an update on the recent jet crash-landing incident at Ibadan Airport in Oyo State. The NSIB is currently conducting an investigation into the incident, which involved an HS 125 aircraft registered as 5N-AMM and owned by Flint Aero. The aircraft was en route from Abuja to Ibadan when it crash-landed while approaching Runway 22 at Ibadan Airport, with 10 passengers and 3 crew members on board. Fortunately, there were no fatalities, as all passengers and crew were safely evacuated. This incident occurred on November 3, 2023, at approximately 08:21 pm local time.


Previously, it was reported that an aircraft carrying the Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, and his aides, crash-landed near the Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport in Ibadan, shortly after departing from Abuja Airport and attempting to land close to the Ibadan airport runway.
