President Bola Tinubu, in Abuja on Wednesday, urged his cabinet members to work diligently to fulfill their ministries' mandates or be prepared to leave the government. He made this call during the 2023 Cabinet Retreat, emphasizing the commitment to eradicating poverty and urging ministers to focus on progress. He also highlighted the importance of delivering results and cooperating effectively.


Tinubu encouraged the team to make collective efforts to move the nation forward, address challenges, and transform the economy. He urged ministers not to be antagonistic but to engage constructively in decision-making. Tinubu acknowledged the nation's challenges but emphasized the need for courage, determination, and focused leadership to achieve progress and improve living conditions.
