NECO Announces 2023 SSCE Results: Here's How to Check

The National Examinations Council (NECO) has made the 2023 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) results for school candidates available. This release took place on October 10, 2023.

Prof. Dantani Wushishi, the Registrar of NECO, provided a breakdown of the results, revealing that 61.60% of the candidates achieved five credits, including English and Mathematics.

Out of the 1,205,888 candidates who registered for the exam, 1,196,985 actually sat for it. Among these, 616,398 were males, and 580,587 were females.

A total of 737,308 candidates earned five credits or more, including English and Mathematics. Additionally, 1,013,611 candidates secured five credits irrespective of English and Mathematics, accounting for 84.68% of the total.

To check your 2023 NECO results, follow these steps:

1. Visit the official NECO online result-checking portal.

2. Purchase a NECO TOKEN from the portal or an authorized vendor.

3. On the result-checking portal, choose your year of examination and examination type.

4. Enter the purchased TOKEN in the appropriate field on the page.

5. Input your Examination Number.

6. Click the "Check My Result" button, and your result will be displayed for printing.
