In a candid interview with 9ja Famous Faves on TikTok, popular skit maker Shanks revealed a surprising chapter from his past. He disclosed that for a period of six months, he dabbled in fraudulent activities commonly known as "Yahoo."

This revelation sheds light on Shanks' life before gaining fame as a skit maker back in 2019. At that time, he had chosen a different path, enrolling in an industrial training course to gain a deeper understanding of Yahoo scams.

For those unfamiliar with the term, "Yahoo" refers to fraudulent schemes carried out by individuals with the aim of deceiving others for financial gain. Shanks openly admitted to dedicating half a year to learning the intricacies of these scams, all in pursuit of financial success.

In a society where achieving financial stability can be challenging, many individuals are enticed by the allure of quick wealth. Unfortunately, they often fail to grasp the full consequences of their actions.

However, Shanks' venture into Yahoo scams did not unfold as he had hoped. Despite his commitment and six months of training, he found himself unable to "cash out."
