Prince Theophiluz, a talented manager, has offered some valuable advice to aspiring artists, cautioning them against signing with record labels like Starboy, 30BG, or Spaceship.


In his guidance, Theophiluz highlighted that record labels associated with artists like Davido, Wizkid, and Burna Boy have already achieved significant success and financial stability. He emphasized that these well-established musicians often have limited time to mentor and nurture new talents signed under their labels. As an illustrative example, he pointed out the experience of a musician Davido signed after releasing his Timeless album.


Theophiluz emphasized that entering into agreements with these prominent record labels, such as Starboy, 30BG, or Spaceship, could be akin to signing with already established superstars, making it challenging for emerging artists to carve out their own careers. He underscored the importance for aspiring musicians to carefully consider signing with a label that can dedicate the necessary time and effort to develop their talents effectively.
