Drama Unfolds: Sophie Turner Takes Legal Action Against Joe Jonas for Alleged Wrongful Detainment of Their Precious Little Ones in the States!

In a surprising turn of events, Sophie Turner has initiated legal proceedings against her estranged husband, Joe Jonas. She alleges that he has wrongfully withheld their children's passports. This lawsuit was officially filed on September 20, 2023, in a federal court, invoking the Hague Convention, an international treaty addressing cross-border child abduction.

The Game of Thrones star clarified that she and Jonas had recently agreed that their two daughters, Willa and J.D., would call England their permanent home. They had even sold their Miami residence in preparation for this move. Sophie emphasized that, before their divorce proceedings began, Jonas had temporary custody of their children due to his more flexible schedule, which allowed him to spend more time with the girls than her, given her demanding shooting schedule in the UK.

Additionally, Turner revealed that she discovered Jonas had filed for divorce through social media, just days after he submitted the documents. Subsequently, she attempted to discuss returning to England with their children, during which Jonas "refused to return the passports to the Mother and refuses to send the children home to England with the Mother."

Jonas had officially filed for divorce on September 1, 2023, a move that shocked many fans, especially because Turner had posted a loving picture of the two just a week prior. The abrupt end to their marriage came after a dispute on August 15.

The couple, who initially met in 2016, became engaged a year later and had two wedding ceremonies: a private one in Las Vegas and a larger celebration in Paris. However, it now appears that their seemingly perfect union is quickly unraveling.
