Full-Time Admin. Role in Financial Planning Company

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the principle in a personal assistant and administrative role. The successful candidate will also need to demonstrate a good basic understanding of the role of the client service function and build up technical knowledge required to support the business adequately.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Principle in fulfilling his duties and responsibilities
  • Supporting the consistent and efficient delivery of key services across the business areas
  • Liaising with clients and service providers
  • New business pipeline management
  • Providing general administration support to the business
  • Filing and retrieving information and documents
  • Updating and maintaining databases relevant to the business
  • Produce client reports
  • Help with compliance on both an internal & external basis
  • Quality checks of administration tasks
  • Comply and support Business standards and targets Skills
  • Good understanding of financial services is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to work on own initiative and have good organisational skills
  • Enthusiastic and committed to business excellence
  • Capable of organising and prioritising workloads
  • High level of attention to detail
  • IT literacy – highly proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Qualifications/Experience

  • QFA qualification would be an advantage but not essential. However, the successful candidate would be encouraged to work towards this qualification
  • Experience of working in the insurance industry would be preferable but not essential
